Visits to Local Wineries

Nineteen members of the Ranch family rented a party limo bus and visited 4 wineries on Saturday in what proved to be a road trip to be remembered. Food and fun are a must for any event and this trip was no exception. Three of the wineries were in the Yadkin Valley Area and one was in the Stokesdale area. Tastings were done at Westbend Vineyards, Hanover Park Vineyards, Flint Hill Vineyards, and Stonefield Cellars. All members on the trip were able to find wines that suited their personal palates and many purchased their favorite wines.
Upon returning to the Ranch, members of the group regaled stories of events occurring at the vineyards and on the bus. Highlights included a fabulous lunch at Flint Hill Vineyards, harmonica music on the bus, and a bus driver who proclaimed that this was his best road trip ever.
Plans are being made to organize another trip this fall or perhaps during the winter.
